For the past 6 years, I have been devoting my time developing new dental biomaterials to provide solutions for clinical issues, such as new magnetic nano-devices to treat chronic diseases. Also, I am interested in understanding issues like: the mechanism of protein attachment (corona effect) on bioceramics and the adhesion of endotoxin on TiO surfaces. In order to deepen my knowledge on these topics, I have used new and revolutionary approaches like the thermodynamics of irreversibility systems and Chemometrics (PCA) in conjunction with surface analysis techniques.
My research interests in Dental Materials are in the following areas:
