Dr. Jian’s research expertise is in the area of mathematical modelling of stored grain ecosystem. His most recent research focus is on insect control using novel techniques, insect ecology and population dynamics, grain drying using new methods, airflow resistance due to different distribution of dockages, grain processing, and mathematical modelling of the above-mentioned research topics.
